Hanging Gardens, Mumbai

The water reservoirs, together has a capacity of containing thirty million gallons of water. This water after purification is used for drinking purpose by a huge population of Mumbai. The Hanging Gardens in Mumbai was built in 1880 and presently houses a large stretch of garden. The garden has been beautified with plants, which have been shaped up as animals. There are fountains and beautiful flower plants as well. The view of sunset from the Hanging Gardens, Mumbai is a must for all nature lovers. In 1921, the garden underwent major refurbishment.
