PUNE AIRPORT

Pune, India is quickly becoming a very busy city. There is a university, and where there is a university, there are young people looking to have a good time. Pune offers a youthful nightlife and seems to pulse with a young energy, which is attracting more and more tourists. The Pune airport handles upwards of 11,500 seats for flights between Pune and Delhi.
That is, the Pune airport would handle those flights, except that Pune does not have an airport equipped to handle the amount of commercial flights that are needed. Instead of a public airport, Pune uses a military base roughly 10 km outside of Pune. Lohegaon has an air force base that is currently serving as the airport, and hasn't such, is constantly being improved to help those flying into Pune arrive in safety and comfort offered by conventional airports.
One of the changes that are coming to the airport is the addition of two duty-free shops, where international tourists can purchase liquor and perfume without having to pay the taxes on them. These shops are standard in most major international airports, so the addition of these shops will help make the airport more conventional. The flights leaving Pune arrive in Delhi at the Indira Gandhi International Airport, which is the busiest airport for passenger traffic in South Asia. Here is a list of airlines flying flights from Pune To Delhi:
SpiceJet: it is the second largest low fare carrier, with flights daily. Time When Flights are bound to leave the landing field: 7.00 (every day), 11.35 (every day except Saturdays)
Indian: along with air India, it is the flag carrier in the country. Time When Flights are bound to leave the landing field: 18.40 (on a daily basis)

JetLite: as well as the standard route, they also offer charter services and aerial photography. Time When Flights are bound to leave the landing field: 18.05 (only on Saturdays) 18.55 (on a daily basis not including Saturdays)

Kingfisher: stands out as one of the few airlines in the world to be given by SkyTrax a five star rating. Time When Flights are bound to leave the landing field: 05:30 (only on Saturdays), 06.15 (on a daily basis not including Saturdays), 10.40 (only on Saturdays), 11.30 (day after day not including Saturdays), 18.30 (day by day)

Jet Airways: is easily the leader of the domestic flights market in India. Time When Flights are bound to leave the landing field: 10.05 (only on Saturdays), 11.05 (day after day not including Saturdays), 19.00 (each day)

Indigo: in 2008, indigo was voted the best low-fare carrier in India for domestic routes.
Time When Flights are bound to leave the landing field: 05.45 (every day), 11.50 (daily except Saturdays), 16.15 (day by day not including Saturdays), 21.10 (only on Saturdays)
As with any airlines, schedules are subject to change. Keeping up to date through the airline's website is a good idea, but for any last minute double-checks, you would be well advised to contact the airport directly to check the status. One of the issues you may face in flying from Delhi to Pune is trying to get a direct flight. Though not impossible, they are rare and book well into their. Most travelers will take a connecting flight, or fly into a nearby city and ride alternative transportation like a train into PO.
The pricing on the flights into or out of the Pune airport, range anywhere from $200-$400 with some airlines charging high. If you are planning the trip between the Delhi and Pune, you would do well to start checking rates as far in advance of your flight as the airlines will allow.
